Happy Birthday, Madiba!

Happy 94th Birthday, Nelson Mandela! You are a great and wise man and I'm sure that many South Africans share my sentiments when I say that I wish you were still President of our beautiful country.

This amazing man was fighting for our country's freedom from the apartheid regime and in 1962 he was jailed in Robben Island for 27 years. He was released from prison on 11 February 1990 and he entered negotiations which led to the establishment of the South African democracy in 1994.
